Your cards stay secure, even if you misplace your device. Simply put your device in Lost Mode in the Find My app, or by logging into iCloud.com. on any device, including non-Apple devices. This disables Apple Pay on that device, putting a temporary hold on your digital cards.

And if any of your Apple devices are confirmed as lost or stolen, you can remotely erase all your information, including your payment cards, from that specific device.

How to add a card to Wallet.

Step 01

Open the Wallet App.

Go to the Wallet app on your iPhone.

Step 02

Tap the the plus symbol.

You may be asked to sign into your Apple Account.

Step 03

Choose a card to add.

Tap Debit or Credit Card and tap Continue.

Step 04

Tap your card.

Place your iPhone on the back of your card. Keep in place until the card is read.2 Or enter your card details manually.

Step 05

Finish your setup.

Follow the prompts in the Wallet app to verify your card. Once it’s verified, you’re good to go.

How to pay in-store with iPhone.

Step 01

Look for the Contactless Symbol.

Use Apple Pay wherever you can tap to pay with a physical card.

Step 02

Double-click the side button.

No need to unlock your iPhone or stop what you’re doing. Just double-click the side button.

Step 03

Confirm it's you.

Every payment gets authenticated with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.

Step 04

Complete your payment.

Hold the top of your iPhone near the card reader until you see 'Done' or a tick on the screen.

How to pay in-store with Apple Watch.

Step 01

Look for the Contactless Symbol.

Use Apple Pay wherever you can tap to pay with a physical card.

Step 02

Double-click the side button.

Just double-click the side button on your Apple Watch.

Step 03

Complete your payment.

Hold the display of your Apple Watch a few centimetres from the contactless reader, until you feel a gentle tap and hear a beep.

How to pay online or in apps.

Step 01

Select Apple Pay at checkout.

Look for the Apple Pay symbol or button. Tap the Apple Pay button or choose Apple Pay as your payment method.

Step 02

Confirm your payment details.

Confirm the payment amount, the card you're using and your billing, shipping and contact information, or, if necessary, enter them manually.

Step 03

Confirm it’s you.

Every payment gets authenticated with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.

Step 04

Your purchase is complete.

You’ll get a confirmation at the email you used at checkout. You can also track your order in Wallet to see delivery updates, payment details, and merchant information.
